Liv's Kale Chips - the ultimate green snack

Kale offers various benefits for health, it’s an amazing source of fibre which aids digestion and can help weight management by feeling full.

It also contains antioxidants like lutein and zeaxanthin, which are beneficial for eye health and vitamin C to support skin and collagen production.  And it’s a good source of calcium and Vitamin K for bone health and iron to combat fatigue.

Ingredients:

1 bunch kale

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp flake salt

Optional: paprika / chilli / lemon zest

 

Method:

Preheat oven to 150C and line a rimmed baking tray with baking paper.

Carefully remove kale leaves from the thick stems using a knife, then tear into bite sized pieces.

Wash and then use your salad spinner to dry thoroughly.

Drizzle the olive oil over kale leaves and toss to coat.

Evenly spread the leaves on the prepared baking tray, and sprinkle desired salts and spices.

Bake for 20-30 minutes, until starting to brown

Remove and enjoy warm or cold.
