Banana & Coconut Homemade Icy Poles
Nov 10, 2025Icy poles are a great way to use up excess fruit and make for a delicious snack or treat too.
You can substitute the banana for just about any fruit, or make a blend of fruits.
Kids can get involved in the making too!
Ingredients:
1 Cup of Milk of choice (Coconut, dairy, oat, almond)
2 large bananas (brown ones are great, with more flavour)
50g Desiccated coconut (some kids might not like this texture, so you can leave out)
Method:
In a blender, mix peeled bananas and milk of choice. Whip until smooth.
Pour the liquid into moulds. Freeze for a minimum five hours, preferably overnight.
Once frozen, remove from the mould as you are ready to eat!
