Julie shares her meditation for regulating your nervous system to find inner balance.

Regulating your nervous system creates a chance to realign, to breathe, and to return to balance.

This isn’t just about starting again, it’s about beginning from your center. Because when you find your center, every choice comes from clarity, not chaos.

The Practice: Balance Breath Meditation 

  • Find a comfortable seat with your spine tall.
  • Close your eyes.
  • Let your hands rest on your heart and belly.

Step 1: Centering Breath:

  • Inhale for 4 counts (imagine light filling your body).
  • Hold for 4 counts (visualise balance, like a still point).
  • Exhale for 6 counts (release old tension).
  • Pause for 2 counts before the next inhale.

Repeat 6–8 rounds, letting your breath smooth out.

Step 2: Energy Reset:

  • On each inhale, imagine breathing in gold light.
  • On each exhale, imagine any heavy energy leaving your body.
  • Whisper to yourself: “I begin again.”

Optional Ritual Elements:

  • Crystals: Hold amethyst (calm & clarity) or clear quartz (reset & amplify intention) during 

your breathwork.

  • Essential Oil: Diffuse or apply lavender (for calm) or frankincense (for spiritual alignment).
  • Mini Altar: Light a candle to signal a fresh start.

Journal Prompt (for after your meditation):

  • What do I need to release to return to balance?
  • What energy do I choose to carry forward this month?

Save this as a ritual you can revisit anytime you need to come back to yourself.
